Guided tours of our farm will take place on the following days:
Saturday – 11 a.m., 1 p.m.
Sunday – 1 p.m.
Tours run approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and are guided by BCHR volunteers.
You must have a confirmed reservation for your tour day/time. All tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
To schedule a tour please complete the form below. You will receive notification within 3-5 days, so be sure to allow lead time for your preferred tour day/time.
All tours will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis according to availability of tour guides and number of requests. BCHR is run completely by volunteers so please provide several potential tour dates so that we may best accommodate you/your group. Groups or organizations of 15 people or more (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, companies, organizations) will be handled separately. Please provide the name of your group, the number of people attending as well as the desired day/time of your tour and we will contact you directly.
You MUST receive confirmation letter before your tour. NO unscheduled tours will be given.
Minimum tour donation is $25/group (cash/check only) and will be collected by your tour guide at the end of your tour (this is simply a minimum: you may donate any amount). We are most appreciative, as we are completely run by volunteers, so all donations are directly used to feed and care for our rescues. And $25 can purchase 5 bales of hay to feed our horses!
Please arrive on time and prepared to begin your tour as scheduled. If you arrive early please visit Hoof Prints Gift Shop for equestrian-themed gifts, toys, jewelry, artwork, apparel as well as BCHR t-shirts.
